Is KAR Energy Software PREMIUM difficult to install?

The software is very easy to install. When the application launches, an "Install" button starts a setup that takes only a few seconds. Once complete, KAR Energy Software PREMIUM runs automatically. For the installation guide, click here.

 

Do I need to configure the software before using it?

Once installed, the software starts and configures itself automatically. You can continue using your computer while it works transparently in the background. You may also import a different energy strategy from Settings > Import energy strategy.

 

Is it safe for my computer?

There is no risk to your computer. All features are certified compatible with Microsoft Windows. IA-KAR is an Intel software development partner.

 

What about antivirus compatibility?

KAR Energy Software PREMIUM is compatible with major antivirus products. If you see a false positive, right-click the file, open Properties, check the Digital Signatures tab and verify the publisher is IA-KAR.

 

Will I really save energy?

Yes. KAR Energy Software PREMIUM reduces electricity consumption, lowers heat and improves memory management. See also how the software works.

 

How are savings calculated?

Savings are based on RAM management, idle CPU component sleep, adaptive power management and screen or PC sleep settings. The software uses manufacturer energy data at installation and you can adjust the kWh cost from the interface.

 

Does the software start with my computer?

Yes. KAR Energy Software PREMIUM starts with Windows and runs autonomously once configured.

 

Can I change electricity cost and currency?

Yes. You can change the kWh cost and currency symbol (€, $, etc.) from the software interface.

 

How do I find my kWh price?

The kWh rate appears on your electricity bill and depends on your supplier and tariff option. For reference rates, see energie-info.fr.
